It always start with ”We need something.”
The first step is always figure out what their “something” is.
This is an example - Seasonal Menu for Summer 2025.
1. Looking into client’s “something”
In this case, they literally said “We need something for summer seasonal menu. Title is ‘Flavor Of Japan’.” No further details.
I created 3 images and let them comment anything.
2. Building up
Luckily, they liked one of the three.
They liked ninja figures, and they’d like to have “Find all ninja” activity.
At the same time, chef is developing the menu. I was updating as I receive information.
3. Ta-da!
After countless updates and revisions, final design is decided.
There are 8 versions of price differences, and 1 more language version.
Proofread, finalized, and sent to print!
