Kid’s Menu Activity

For : Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
As : In-house designer
Goal : To make kids take time while their parents are looking at menu, and enjoy their meal.
Challenges : “Can you make ‘Where’s Waldo?’ kinda activity for kids? With Japanese theme?” in short amount of time.

Many people (including restaurant staff and HQ staff, in addition to guests and their kids) enjoyed this. Phew.

Chili-boy & Yuzu-girl

Final Design

For : Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
As : In-house designer
Goal : To create characters for seasonal menu, which is featuring Chili & Yuzu flavors.
Challenges : The biggest challenge for this project was frequent change in direction.

For this project, initial request was to create cute ones, and eventually they requested tough-look ones. Finally, the project was cancelled. However I liked them, so I set them as my avater on in-house tool.

LINE Stickers

For : Personal project
This was just for fun. I made LINE stickers that can be used when you urgently need to go during conversation (for example, someone called, or nature called, feeling not good, etc).

I know it’s 21st century, but I still love water color drawing. (They look good on screen, too.) They are used for stationary designs.
